A bit of history,

The labor intensive hand stitched Madeira appliqués was produced in great quantities from the 1860s until the 1970s. In the 70s most production moved to China when labor was very very very inexpensive. By the early 2000s the labor in China prices started climbing and this product was no longer made. In 2019 my heart skipped a beat when I found some old dusty boxes filled with this treasure.

This is a dead-stock item and we no longer have any more of this fabric. Once it’s sold out, it will not be coming back!
